You are looking at a 1965 Ford Econoline - Falcon Club Wagon Van.
This is a nicly patina-ed van.
It comes with a 240 inline 6, FORD original auto trans for the Econoline, 9" rear end, tranny cooler, Cable shift conversion replacing the transmission linkage rods, front wheel disc brakes, 1967 dual master cylinder upgrade with vintage Cragers and good tire rubber.
All seats, front and impossible to find rear bench seats are original and were recovered a few years back with oem style material and stitch pattern.
New windshield with tint bar across the top along with new windshield rubber.
This was the van used to pattern the M2, 1/64 scale toy trucks and vans from since it was so original. It was documented/pictured at Fabulous Fords Forever in 2011 at the 50th anniversary of the Econoline or possibly the 2012 show, I forget which year it was now.
You would be hard pressed to find a van in this original of condition that hasn't been painted and hense ruin the patina and barn, left out in a field actually, find quality of this van.
The dash hasn't been chopped up and no aftermarket sun roofs etc.
Didn't think I'd ever sell her, but times change. Love to see her go to a loving home.
Salvage title unfortunately do to it being bought from a salvage yard (All Ford Wrecking) by the previous owner. Mandatory practice that cars that are sold to a wrecking yard that are then sold complete must have a salvage title (so I'm told). As you can see however, it has never been in a serious accident.
I have owned this van since '07 and have loved it since the day in bought it.
If you have been to the annual Econo meet in April at the Rose Bowl parking lot, then you have seen it there numerous times and you will again if it does not sell in the next few weeks.
Please call with any and all questions.
Price is 11,000 obo. Thanks - Timothy
